I forgot to mention that I should have been in Florida today lol

There is a conference going on for 3 days at the Swan resort but it was not in the budget to have two people go so my boss went ☹ lol he said they would have taken me too but did not

He did not want to go because he is gone for 3 days comes back on Thursday and has anther conference for a few days and then flies to hawaii with his family for a week

I just talk to him, he missed the connecting flight so he will not land in Orlando till midnight lol

his first flight was at 9am this morning. that's all day in the air and airports

Oh gawd! That's one of my nightmares. I always have to make a connection. You can't get a direct flight from Spokane to anywhere. I hope hope my bags and I make it to Orlando on schedule!!! It's bad enough I have to leave my house Friday at noon. Spend the night in Spokane. I have a 6 am flight to San Francisco. I only have an 65 min layover so it will be tight. Then a 5 hour flight to Orlando.

They "clean up well" ...from soccer cleats to high heels these young ladies were rewarded for their hard work tonight at the Spring Sports Banquet (...and Diane...no "drama" like last year with the team awards ). Not only did Redstorm receive her recognition as District Offensive MVP and Academic All District but she was also voted on by the team as Team Offensive MVP. DH and I laughed when the coach announced that she'd scored 49 goals this year...and all the male athletes in the gym went "WHOA!" ... the Assistant Superintendent was sitting behind us and he tapped DH on the shoulder giving him a thumbs up and telling him...DANG . Good evening ...

Sure makes me thankful most of our flights are non-stop. I did have to deal with a connecting flight once~flew from Austin to Houston (20 minutes in the air ), deplaned and had to wait 2 hours for connecting flight. Actually worked out perfect at the time; I had a leisurely breakfast in the Houston airport .

It's worth the extra dollars to get direct flights! I'm not crazy about changing planes mostly due to your bosses problem...missing a connecting flight. Almost happened to a group of us once when we had to change in Atlanta! NEVER again will I fly through Atlanta. Original flight was delayed taking off due to Houston weather and we arrived with 20 MINUTES before next flights departure. Of course THAT flight departed from a gate on the TOTAL OPPOSITE side of that huge airport! They had to hold the plane for us and we were exhausted when we took our seats. I worry about my luggage but Southwest is great recovering lost luggage ... had one bag lost during our return soccer trip (the family stopped for dinner on the way home) and that bag was waiting on the doorstep when that family got home! I always pack an extra days clothing in my carry on anyway. Direct is the only way to go!
