Weather Channel calling the weather event a "Bomb Cyclone"it's so bad in the NE today. Thank goodness school was cancelled last evening already because the videos on WC are down right scary!

The Princess was even watching the Weather Channel! A blessing they cancelled school BEFORE it got this bad. You just continue to sit there, enjoy the cat and STAY WARM! 
I understand why the shoveling needs to be done to "get ahead of the mess" but it looks BRUTAL out there!

Yes...this is from DS. DD collects Jim Shore too! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his figurines! I gave her the most adorable Tinkerbell one a few years ago!But...this is not Jim Shore and not from the Christmas store. It's in the vicinity of the Boathouse but not directly related to it.

...for all of us! Those poor orange groves ...along with other fruits and vegetables; farmers are seeing the possibility of years of work gone. 
I can only imagine their concern; my Daddy lost his entire corn crop the year my sister was born and talked about that hardship for years!

But y'all tend to forget...the south is not EQUIPPED to handle snow/ice. You'd probably be hard pressed to find ONE snowplow in the ENTIRE south! 
And we have no clue how to drive on icy roads 
...NONE...it would be funny if it wouldn't be so dangerous! That block of snow on that car makes me laugh HARD though!
