Been "playing" on SmugMug while I'm listening to the Brenham Cub football game (when I SHOULD be working on my Snow Village ) but came up with some fun effects for photos!

Really proud this afternoon of Redstorm and her volleyball team for giving the eventual 4A State Champions 2 GOOD matches during the season. Two of their 12 losses of the year were to the Needville Bluejays who went on today to WIN that coveted State Champion Volleyball Trophy.

Cool front arrived this afternoon with a 20 degree temperature drop! FINALLY "seasonal" weather...and football team survives the first week of the playoffs with a nice victory this evening. Game next week will be in Bryan/College Station area and DH doesn't mind traveling there. Game tonight was to far to drive on unfamiliar roads. Looking forward to Thanksgiving week!

Yes this is from a ride attraction but it's no longer there; it's not from Back Lot Tour, Toy Story or ToT.

Back in September, as the entire state of Florida was bracing for Hurricane Irma, Disney made the decision to close the parks but kept their resorts opened for many who were fleeing their homes. Even with the resort revenue, Hurricane Irma cost Disney $100 million in operating income. From lower attendance, park closures, cancelled and shortened cruises, and damage/clean up from the storm, this is a big hit for the most popular theme park in the United States.
