Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

Main Street? Hope you don't find any snakes.:scared1::faint:

So far so good! :faint: Fire ants but no snakes yet! :woohoo: My dear sweet DH FINALLY took the dog pens down in the back yard that I've been asking to be removed for...oh about 10 years! :lmao: Found about 10 dog toys under the grass and weeds, weeds, weeds but I'm SO excited my view from the pool this summer won't remind me of all the puppy dogs we've said goodbye to the past few years! :sad1: Had to come in to cool off...little "warm" out there today so hoping he gets the cover off the pool next. ::yes::

Fantasyland?

I don't think our pool will be open for awhile. We need a new pump and filter. Don wants to take it down.:( I told him the only way I would allow it is if we replace it with a hot tub.

I could use a hot tub about now! :rotfl: Honestly...that DOES sound like a better idea that a pool since your water stays so COLD :cold: but it would be hard to give up on a pool! We replaced our pump and filter a few years ago so hoping we're good for at least a few more summers!

Adventureland? Skipper Canteen?

Both DD's and the Princess are in San Antonio this weekend for a dance competition. They got an unexpected surprise when they realized they were there for Fiesta Flambeau and the nighttime parade. DD couldn't understand why there were NO hotel rooms available in any of her favorite hotels and got lucky one day when she managed to snag one after a cancellation; it was still 10 miles from the competition sight but it was a place to stay. They ventured downtown and to the Riverwalk this afternoon to discover THOUSANDS of people staking a spot for the night time 10 mile parade celebrating the 300th anniversary of the local celebration. They watched a small portion of it before returning to their room to watch the rest on TV (and call me to give me the website so I could see what they were talking about!) This was the most colorful, LOUD, dance filled parade I've ever seen. o_O There was a 340 member high school band from Naples, Florida in the parade; they chartered 3 jets, needed 11 charter buses in San Antonio and sent their equipment to Texas in 3 semi-trucks! As a former band parent I can't imagine planning a trip like that! :faint: They even had Santa and his reindeer in the parade! :santa: It looked amazing but don't think I'll EVER see it in person with crowds like this hours before it even started...

Sounds like a fun time but a lot of people. Kind of like at wdw thousands of people staking out a spot for a parade.

DD said it was actually WORSE than Disney because there were SO many people in such a confined area...she said my claustrophobia would have "kicked in" :crazy2:. Downtown San Antonio room prices equaled the POLYNESIAN prices too! :tink:

:thumbsup2 Mama Melrose? :tink:

Bingo! :yay: Could you just tell me where at Mama Melrose's?

 Sounds like a great parade but it makes me anxious about all the people and crowds I'm going to be in while I'm traveling. I'm so used to wide open spaces up here.
