Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

Our cool/COLD (for us) weather has arrived :goodvibes ! We had a 40 degree temperature drop today; it was 73 at noon; 14 hours later it's 32! 😬

This would be considered associated with Toy Story/childhood but it's not from the Toy Story float. :tink:

So it’s associated with TS but not from the float? Is it a TS character? Or a float with toys on it?

It was 10 degrees here this morning

toy soldier?

BRRRR Diane :cold:; our low last night was 27 and THAT was cold! I'm going to have to suck it up tomorrow and go out and get as many Christmas decorations as I can put away. MIGHT make it to upper 40's if I'm lucky. We have possible ice predicted for Thursday and would like to get everything but the lights put away.

This is an "individual entry" in the Toy Story section of the parade. It's not a character, Toy Soldier or on a float. :tink:

Rocking horse?

i am guessing its a holiday display?

MK?

Sara and the girls got back from DW today and we talked a little this evening about the Island Tower. The biggest "disappointment/problem", in her opinion, was the distance to the GCH...especially from their room location. It took them 15 minutes...it's a half mile to get to the main area and a few minutes longer to get to the bus stop! The menu at the QS in the Tower did not appeal to either of them so they had most of their hotel meals at the Grand Floridian. It was actually CLOSER to walk there than to the GCH! They had issues getting their ride back to the airport this morning too. The entrance to the Tower can only be accessed with a Magic Band...and ride shares/UBER drivers can't get in! Instead of being picked up at the lobby area of the Tower they had to walk to the front entrance...not "fun" with luggage! The pros...the lounge areas, especially the Observation Deck. They used it Sunday night to watch the fireworks and were actually able to see a launch from Kennedy Space Center while waiting! She said THAT was really cool and Allie LOVED it! Rooms are nice but like I mentioned about Kidani ... LONG hallways, and with their location, it took forever to get there! :faint: Just a few thoughts from her but thought they were interesting; I think I'd much rather stay in the regular rooms! :rotfl:

Main Street?
Not a fun walk. It looks really nice but too bad the QS wasn’t good.

Guess it's not much different from the other DVC's though...Old Key West and SS are long walks, heck...even WL is a "good hike" to get to food but they're not quite as expensive as the Polynesian! 🤷‍♀️ They're glad they stayed there and will probably go back but stick with the regular DVC rooms which are a little bit closer.

No Ma'am, this is not on Main Street. :tink:

Ya Emily originally wanted to stay at Saratoga Springs but after looking at the map it is a very spread out resort. Same with Key west, they have larger rooms but it’s a large resort as well

We will see how AKL will treat us haha

I think next time when we go back which will be in Dec this year she wants to stay at the Bay Lake Towers because they just went thru a renovation

Is it part of an attraction shop or food service?

I just loved Bay Lake Tower and you can't beat the location! Sara and family love Old Key West; they've figured out the "shortcuts" and like being close to DS. Same with SS...they stayed their once (I think some time this year). Both places they were lucky enough to get rooms close to a bus stop. The only downside for me would be no elevators, I think at OKW (not sure about SS). That wouldn't work for me. To me...AKL and Villas seems "out of the Disney bubble" and there's no Disney theming...just animals which means your family will probably love it. Just not for me. Anxious to get your report! :goodvibes Time getting close for y'all! :mickeyjum:tink:
