Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

I briefly read over the sports thing last night; was it maybe like an NBA tournament or something like that. :confused3 I know it was basketball and that's one of the sports I pay NO attention too! There was also some talk about soft openings for AP holders which would include Sara and the girls. Amanda and other "graduation party trip" participants" wouldn't be able to go but at least Allie could get her "graduation trip" in. Wouldn't be much of a "party" trip since HER friends wouldn't be able to go either but it would be something. I'm 99% sure it won't happen but she has reservations at her #1 DVC, WL, so she's not cancelling anything...she's leaving it up to Disney to cancel so it benefits her when they give "perks" for cancelling. I firmly believe some sections will open in the next 6 weeks. Disney (as well as all business) can't keep up this financial hit. Heck...for some it would just be nice to be able to have a few relaxing days at one of the fabulous resorts with a side trip to Disney Springs!

I'm totally with you on local business opening too. We have 12 cases in our county; why should our stores remain closed. I can wear a mask if I want to go into Coco and Duckies or Treasure Craft and I know better than to pick up every item in those stores and contaminate it! You hit the "nail on the head" too with the gas situation...there's no place to store it anymore because it's not being used. I filled up my gas tank on March 20th and I'm still at 3/4's of a tank. We laugh when we see the Facebook post..."I got 3 weeks to the gallon" but it hurts. A lot of friends and neighbors in the oil and gas industry around us and they're in dire shape now. Yes...New York, Chicago, larger cities with multiple cases and deaths should stay in "lock down" but "rural America" should get back to "semi-normal". I'm a member of the "at risk" group; I should be the one staying home and protecting myself...why should my younger family members and neighbors be forced to give up their lives. They know how to wash their hands and cover their faces when they cough! It's called "PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY"! :tink:

We have 7 cases in my county! The same 7 we have had for the last month. One died. For all I know the other 6 are well now. And I can't get a haircut? But, IF I were to get sick, we don't have enough health care services up here. And again, I hear the hospital is losing money. We have had 7 cases in our county and they can't do a colonoscopy? Those are the kind of things that make money for the hospital. WA, OR and CA are making plans together so I have to live with the same decision that makes sense for Los Angeles. It's all so frustrating, scary and sad. No good answers until we have a vaccine and/or a cure.

Exactly! You shouldn't have to live under the same rules as Los Angeles! 😤 Our governor let hospitals start elective surgeries again this past Monday; happened at the right time! Got a prayer request today for one of our friends; he'd fallen off a ladder Sunday and just went into surgery today to fix both broken wrists! :faint: By now, your remaining 6 cases must be well by now. As I understand they need to have 2 negative tests results before they're considered "safe". Not sure how many days apart the tests are though. I sure hope your governor jumps in and makes some independent decisions! :tink:

Treehouse?

Anything to do with the tiki statues or the little remote control boats?(are those still there?)
Loading dock?

Prom is cancelled 😢 and graduation still on hold. The State said they could hold graduation but had to comply with the "social distance" guidelines which, for now is groups of 10 or smaller. They're meeting again in 3 weeks hoping that guidelines have been increased. Some of the other seniors had talked to fellow seniors and many of them are opting out of attending a ceremony. :confused3 Stupid kids. 😡 I remember "those students" from MY class...they just wanted to "get out and go". So be it; a majority of the class DOES want a ceremony so the number in "the group" will decline. There are 163 graduating seniors; if some don't attend that makes it better for those that do. They did set 2 tentative dates; 1 in June and 1 in July. I'm thinking the July date could be "doable". They also WILL hold "virtual banquets and awards ceremonies". :mickeyjum The administrators/teachers/coaches will "broadcast" from the auditorium or stage in the cafeteria. It's better than nothing. They were told if they chose to put together some type of "prom" on their own they (the administrators) wouldn't object. They just can't/won't "officially" host a prom. I'm thinking the different groups of students will get together at someones house for dinner and dancing...or they may rent a small hall somewhere just to gather together. At least they got a few "answers"...

I don't remember remote control boats! That sounds cool! This is not associated with the tiki statues and not located on the loading dock. :tink:

Entrance area or How about in the little seating area next to the ride?

Glad they are still going to have graduation and the awards.

Not a total "done deal" on the graduation but I'm confident they'll get to have something...might just be class members, principle and school board but it will be something. Gov. Abbott has started opening up the state and I'm thinking by July he'll let us have a lot more flexibility. 🙏

:tigger: I was looking for "the sign" but Diane described the area:dance3:!
