The Character Spot? Mickey meet and greet?
... and another cheer for The Character Spot.
It would be a total guessing game to guess the character so here's the picture...the one that I realized Redstorm was TALLER than Mickey!
"Mickey" liked that when I pointed it out!

Trying to understand the "wisdom" of Texas UIL officials this morning
Looks like Redstorm's freshman and sophomore years will involve a LOT of traveling time for us all...road trips around 150 MILES one way!
Yes Ma'am...it's the silly putty under the Etch A Sketch!
but I really like this picture.
about how the schools redistrict. The basketball/volleyball/track/tennis/golf are in a different district than the football & soccer. So Redstorm's volleyball games will involve reasonable travel but, they play half the games on Friday nights and there's no way fans can drive from one to the other when there's 1 1/2 - 2 hours travel time involved.
Our state goes by student enrollment. There are a few schools that we play that are over two hours away. Depends on the day of the week and what sport it is if we go or not.
Luckily we don't have any really big cities to deal with. Our traffic is I 93 north on Fridays with people from Mass and NH trying to get to the lake in the summer and the mountains in the winter. We have a back way we travel to Maine so we don't deal with any of that traffic.
Like in NH, the "city folk" are all "getting out" to their country homes and/or lakes PLUS all the traffic added with "Friday Night Lights". The heavy starts around 3 in the afternoon and goes until 9 or 10 at night. A normal 20 minute commute easily turns into 1 1/2 hours. I'm guessing they'll use the "back roads" for the trip but then safety is in question. They're dark, curvy, sometimes slow traffic, numerous deer ... not a "good drive". At least her fall volleyball games will be locally...35 mile trip is the longest but, like I said...no way we'll be able to get to the football game AFTER she finishes.
