Love that...I actually do the same thing if I happen to stop on one of the cooking shows while channel surfing...only my favorite "shout: is, "WHAT? Who the hell would eat that in the first place"? Some of that stuff is disgusting! But yes...football is KING in Texas...the high school Friday night show had an interview with a professional player now playing for the Texans (who had a HORRIBLE game yesterday ). He's from Florida (which is another pretty crazy "football state"); he commented on how surprised he was to move to Texas and find out there was no comparison to the devotion to the sport. DD can name just about every player, number and position from just about every pro team...Redstorm is still in the learning process but she's pretty good at that too. My goal this season is to at least learn names/numbers of the Cowboys...I normally just look at the uniform color and if it's Cowboy Blue or Aggie maroon I'm gonna cheer (or yell at ) the player!

Same thing happening here...only DGD's haven't been effected yet. My sister was "sick as a dog" last week...missed the dang football game ! Her daughter-in-law is a teacher and was the first one to "get the bug"; then her and her son in mid-week. The funny thing though is the 2 kids haven't had it yet. Hope DD feels better quick...my sister said it was rough.
