You Canadians have way too many holidays. I looked on my desk calendar to see what the holiday was. Easter Friday AND Eater Monday. Why two days?

LOVE IT! Looking forward to our long weekend and eating that chocolate too! We normally get 4 days here in Texas too...beginning with Maundy Thursday. This year, however, kiddos have to make up the "ice day" school closing and show up for "head count" so the district gets credit for them "attending school" on Thursday....then they early release them at noon.

DD left this morning at 6:30 for her 8th grade class trip to Washington DC. She won't be home until Friday night at 11:00pm.

WOW...NICE trip and you get a "break" too! I always LOVED school trips for my girls...it was extra quiet around here since other DD had no one to "argue" with! Our spring has been "put on hold"...cool front has arrived with predicted record lows in the mid-upper 30's! 3" of snow in the Texas Panhandle!

DD left this morning at 6:30 for her 8th grade class trip to Washington DC. She won't be home until Friday night at 11:00pm.

Oh lucky her!!! I was born in DC and grew up in the suburbs. The cherry blossom festival is on right now and it is a beautiful time to see our nation's capital! Everyone should go to Washington, DC at least once! IMHO

We actually have spring weather today. 60's but then going to get cold the rest of the week highs in the 40's for Wednesday. The mornings have been cold, this morning was 30. It's really windy here too, the lights keep flickering at work.
