Just talked to Joe....his company is making him go back to Boston in January

Originally he was supposed to be back in September. Then they kept pushing it back, but the last we had heard was that he would come home right before Thanksgiving, and would stay here most of the time with the exception of a couple of weeks he might need to fly back. Now they're saying they need him back full time for an undisclosed period.

Looks like I'll still be living with mom and dad for a while. Which I don't mind, really, it's just the 45 minute commute I hate.

when I do travel and I will be starting to do more I don't pay for anything except for food but then the last time I traveled I did not pay for food either lol

SURPRISE! Aren't you excited? Another long winter for you has started. Rain storms are expected to ruin Halloween for our kiddos; looks like snow will put a damper on the holiday for y'all. We started the morning with hail and it's been raining since 5 AM so we'll have a real "mushy mess" by tomorrow night!





DD is fine, thanks to her Ford Explorer (would have been a different story had she been driving a smaller car)...just DREADING the weeks she'll be stuck in a rental while her car is being repaired. As for the deer....RIP.....

This IS from HS but not the GMR.

Hope the weather clears up for tomorrow for trick or treat.

So sorry...trust me, the 45 minute commute will be the worse thing! That's why we have airplanes! DH spent 14 months in Vietnam, beginning the year I graduated high school. Worked out well though...he SENT my engagement ring through the mail! We always joke about that...he has NEVER "officially" asked me to marry him and not to long ago we celebrated our 42nd anniversary!

Hang in there Jeff, I'm sure your time is coming! Oh......you're a home owner now...does that mean you get to shovel sidewalks and driveways?

Same thing here with "Mr. Sun"; bright, beautiful sunshine...5 minutes later downpour and I can't see across the street! ...and, just looked out...NOW we have the wind starting ...long day/evening ahead when Texas weather does this! I'm sure the "tornado watches" will start between 3 & 4 this afternoon !

...and in the time it took me to type that, we have ANOTHER downpour!

All I know is reading y'alls posts is making me grateful I live in NC. A sunny 73 degrees here. No rain, no wind, and definitely no snow.
