To much "drama" in our household this evening is preventing me from keeping up on Disboards! DD hit a deer this evening on the way home from a doctors appointment. Between law enforcement/a very nice gentleman helping her get the car back on the road to get home (she was 45 minutes away)/one DD at dance class/the other on the soccer field with her Coach Dad/DD's Daddy worrying about his "little girl" ... ! She's okay but those big animals sure can do a "number" on an automobile!

And we have a WINNER! Diane has named Pin Central...

Goopy-Glad to hear everyone was ok, though it does sound like a stressful night! And no, the hot air balloon ride was in Phoenix, about 3 hours from the Grand Canyon. We covered a lot of ground in 5 days.

It was what my job calls a FAM trip, short for familiarization. Different vendors and destinations put them together and invite agents to participate so that we get acquainted with the product so we can sell it better. The best part is...the company pays! I only had to pay for one dinner and any souvenirs; flight and everything else was covered. It's a rough life, I'm tellin ya ;-)

SURPRISE! Aren't you excited? Another long winter for you has started. Rain storms are expected to ruin Halloween for our kiddos; looks like snow will put a damper on the holiday for y'all. We started the morning with hail and it's been raining since 5 AM so we'll have a real "mushy mess" by tomorrow night!

DD is fine, thanks to her Ford Explorer (would have been a different story had she been driving a smaller car)...just DREADING the weeks she'll be stuck in a rental while her car is being repaired. As for the deer....RIP.....
