Oh poor Redstorm! I hope she gets better soon!
Close but not one of those.
No not that one.
Let's see if THIS ONE is easier:

Then I'll go back to my REAL first thought...GOOFY?
![]()
Yep...on only 6 hours sleep, she was off to school...didn't want to miss "Tests on Thursday's" day!Doctors appointment is set for tomorrow.
Diane...Redstorm will face that all next year; athletics starts in 7th grade here. She's 1 of 3 youngest on the Redstorm team; the other 10-11 girls do extracurricular soccer in addition to school cross-country, volleyball AND music!... and there's a couple of them that are Jr. High football cheerleaders too!
It gets a LITTLE
hectic when schedules conflict but all the coaches work with the girls as best they can. As long as the grades are okay, I say give here the chance to do both. She needs to find her niche and now is the best time to do that!
hug: Sure is hard on parents though with all the "running around"

how did she break her arm playing soccer? I guess she fell or slide wrong
The monorail station?
Tomorrowland? is it part of an attraction?
Is this outside? Related to transportation?
Yep! Those girls play HARD...bumped into a teammate; fell backwards; braced herself with the left hand...and CRACK.This is the most common break in young athletes and most commonly comes from (1) rollerskating, (2) skate boarding and (3) SOCCER. I think the worst part for her will not being able to swim the rest of the year.
We still have about a month of "swimming weather" left.

One girl on DD's team went to head the ball and so did another girl, she got the other girl's head in her mouth and broke a tooth. She had just gotten braces on and the good thing was the braces saved her tooth. She wasn't wearing a mouth guard.A few years ago the high school boys varsity team had 8 starting players hurt at the same time.

park? HS? Star wars area?
I know! Whoever claims it's a "non-contact" sport has not watched a soccer game! Heck...even the beginners end up on the ground...of course, as in DGD's case, it's just "fun" for them to sit down a while and count the grass blades!
