where for birthday dinner

my daughter will be turing 12 while we are visiting the world towards the end of june...because of different vacations that we have taken over the past several years, we have not been at home for my daughter to celebrate her birthday with her friends...since we will be in the world, i would like to take her somewhere nice for her birthday...can anyone recommend a place that will make a BIG deal about it being her birthday so she doesn't feel like she got the short end of the stick again???
she will be 12 and likes the basic american food so nothing too fancy....

my DS who turned 10 requested chef mickey...the whole napkin twirling thing I guess. You may want to try 50's prime time in MGM too. My neighbor went there for her sons bday and they made such a big stink over it. But that might just depend on your server. When you call to make a PS wherever you decide to go just make sure you tell them on the phone and remind them when you get there.

My son had the birthday pin on when we went into the Plaza. Somehow the Mayor of Main street found out and told everyone in the restaurant to pay attention while he gives a big birthday greeting to my son! It was great! The food was also wonderful and not too expensive. My son picked out a great dessert. We has PS at Chef Mickey's for dinner and although he enjoyed that, he still talks about the Mayor! He was turning seven, though. My be too babyish for your girl.

thanx for the great suggestions...we have eaten at chef mickeys a couple of times and have alway enjoyed that...
any other ideas where we can get a big deal made out of her birthday...i'm not concerned as to where it is (park or resort)...
