We are a family with a very sweet tooth - to the point that DW would skip an appetiser and leave some of the main to make sure she has room for dessert.
Last year we were advised to go and try The Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream and can honestly we weren't disappointed :thumbsup2
Does anyone know of any restaraunts - Disney or otherwise - that does a similar thing, the more spectacular the better :mickeybar

We loved the Kitchen sink for the experience, not the best dessert in the world but, more quantity over quality but really enjoyed the experience.
Beaches and cream also do the best burgers in Disney imo.

For quality of dessert the best we have had is at Chilis, WHITE CHOCOLATE MOLTEN CAKE also had the regular one which is nice but we prefer the white one. Alsways have one to share between 3 of us, got 2 1st time and it was too much. They cost about $6.29 (£6.29 in UK Chilis) but worth it.

DS also likes Captain Jacks at Orlando Alse House, $4.99 again we all share. I prefer the other.

The sundaes at Ghiradelli's (Downtown Disney) are very nice :)

We have had numerous visits to Ghiradellis over the years, but last time we went the prices had increased and portions didn't seem as big, didn't feel it was worth it anymore.
I always have banana split but $8.95+ tax I think is too much. It was OK when we used to get buy one get one free vouchers, anyone had any recently for joining their website?.:thumbsup2

We both have a sweet tooth (or is that teeth? *lol*) and loved the Cheesecake Factory (speaks for itself really!) and Boma (lots of little desserts rather than one big one) Rainforest Cafe do a dessert called 'the volcano' but i've never tried it, it certainly has the wow factor visually though :)

That is definately what we are after - the WOW factor.

Something that we can look at the photos of in years to come - as we do with the kitchen sink.

They make a big deal of serving it, similar to the kitchen sink (it isn't nearly as big but still a sharing dessert), basically the entire restaurant will know about it! :upsidedow They used to put sparklers in but the more recent pics i've seen they use those silver 'streamers on sticks' type things (that's the technical term obviously :lmao:)

Hi Wayne, DH is already planning to have one of those White Chocolate Molten Cakes, but is also intrigued as to what a Captain Jacks is. Can you describe or, better still, do you have a photo?

If you have an AP you used to get 10% off at Ghirardellis. You'll also get 10% off at Rainforest cafe food and a little more off merchandise if you have an AP :thumbsup2

There is the Volcano at Rainforest Cafe.

But we like the Cheesecake Factory -

Never taken a pic of it and this is best I can find on the web. Its a large dish covered in fudge sauce then a large piece of homemade icecream/oreo cake. I like it but DS loves it.
