Hi! I can't decide where to put this post, so I decided the community board was never wrong. I'm looking to make a photo book from our most recent trip. I love the premium lay flat books from snapfish, but I'm not loving any of the design themes. Is there a good Disney one somewhere? The books from memory maker are way too expensive!! I'm not looking to do a ton of work, digital scrapbook style. I just need backgrounds and basic layouts with places for me to put in some text throughout.

We make photobooks at Walgreens, two versions, one that's plain black leather and one that has a custom cover. I don't think we have any disney backgrounds, but we do have a lot of different themes and backgrounds to choose from.

Also with Shutterfly you can select Storyboard and drop the pages into 2 page layouts, then select edit and you can move things around or choose other layouts.
It's pretty user friendly.

I guess I'll have to try shutterfly! I'm not sure I have used them for anything before, but I assume their lay flat books are probably of similar quality to snapfish. I'd love to be able to mix in some Christmas pages, since we were there in December, but I may be asking too much.

Is the 10x10 a good size? I like the 8x11 snapfish offers, and I'm afraid I would find the 8x8 too small.

I've never done a Disney photo book, but I've made a portfolio with Shutterfly. They're books are top quality and there are lots of layout options and designs! Love them!

Shutterfly because that's where my photos are, I know how to use it, the quality is good, and with coupons the prices are very reasonable.

Snapfish used to have a disney. I have used them several times to make books and calendars.

@WDWAurora you can add additional papers and embellishments. Anything with an S is an added cost but there is a lot that is free. Their lay flats are nice.
10 x 10 is good. I prefer 12x12 or 8x8 though. All my Disney albums are 12 x 12 because I can cram a lot of photos on 2 pages.

Let me see if I can pull my Christmas one. I didn't do a Disney theme because it wasn't available yet but the pages still turned out great.

I've made many shutterfly books- never disney themed, but with disney photos. Also used shutterfly for wedding books that came out great!

this one I used digital tags for journal spaces, then wrote in the book when I got it. And I left space for the printed Rockin' Roller Coaster ride pic and the fast passes. I just stuck it on when the book came.

I've used Shutterfly to do one for Great Wolf Lodge (our package came with a coupon for it) and it sound like what you're looking for - there were a handful of pre-set layouts that came with the theme, and I just dropped in the pics and typed the text. It was pretty easy, and I'm not at all "techie". (I usually scrapbook by hand.) I would see if they have a Disney theme.

FYI, this is not a lay flat book. I didn't want to pay the extra for it.

Looks great! I did one layflat with snapfish and I am hooked on them! Thanks for the pics.

I'm techie enough, but lazy. I used to scrapbook, but never do anymore. It's hard to let go of the layout freedom! Sometimes also hard to just group things on the page.

I use Blurb ................ very easy to use and great results!

My wife usually scrapbooks. But when she wants to creates a digital album, she uses Shutterfly. They always have some deal going for free prints or a free photobook or something.

I like MyPublisher. Especially when their 70% off deals come around. They also have the lay flat pages, and I really like their super high gloss!
