We live in Texas but I have never been told I live in the mid-west:)

We are in Michigan. A suburb of Detroit to be exact. Of course, I would rather be at OKW!!

Diane,

Yup... I always knew that we must be very close. You answered some DVC questions for me about 3 years ago, and I made a mental note that we must be within 5 miles of each other.

I live on cty road 42 near the SA & Kwik Trip. If you see a Black Ford Explorer driving around town with the license plate that reads WDW4US, that's me...

We are much closer than you think! I live about a mile from Cty 42 and Cty 27. (read 150th and cty27) I drive a Windstar with DIZ as the first part of the plate and a big white Ford van that says "D'Aire Airedales" on it. That last one is hard to miss!

Norton Ma.......just down the street from Gillette Stadium, Home of the New England Patriots!!!!!!!!!

Born and raised in New Yawk City :) (Queens and Staten Island).

Now a resident of the Garden State....Hillsborough, NJ

HEY!!!!!!

When did Louisiana move from the deep south/southeast to the midwest???????

Was someone going to inform us about the relocation?????

Or did the Gulf of Mexico finally erode enough of the coastline that the southern most part of Iowa had to be renamed Louisiana so the cajuns could still call LA home???

Born in Virginia, but raised in South Jersey.

Checking in from Burlington, NJ. I live north of the Mason-Dixon line, but there are some parts of Southern NJ that do fall south of the Mason-Dixon line. I think that I have heard NJ referred to as the armpit state more than a Mid-Atlantic or Northeast state. Not quite sure what an Armpit State would really mean, but it does seem to give us a bad rap! One must say though that NJ isn't that bad, you have NYC little over an hour away, Philly a cross over a bridge and the shore is only 1 hour away. We have gambling, DC and Baltimore all within a short drive. I actually can say that I love where I live!!! I guess most importantly though I have Disney in only a short 2 hr 11 min flight.....

Wisconsin here! Home of the Green Bay Packers. Anyone ever hear of them? LOL Are there any other Wisconites here?

I'm in Southern Connecticut, near New Haven, on Long Island Sound!

wow, i must have missed this thread when it was first posted back in Jan.

great minds think alike... i posted a poll almost exactly identical to this one back in Nov 2003. (back in Nov, someone else had posted a poll that made no geographical sense at all, heh.) anyway, my poll got 400+ votes, so if anyone is curious to check out those results, here's the link:

DVC members, where are you from?

(btw, my poll also listed NJ under Mid-Atlantic, but i didn't have a "Northeast" category, instead i had a "New England" category just as someone previously mentioned in this thread.)

I would be interested in knowing what DVC's stats are and how they compare to your poll.
Considering that Michigan doesn't allow perks for getting friends to join, I'm amazed by the number of members we have from Michigan!
