get warmer in your area?
I have heard of certain states maybe having some snow soon, while other states are already getting the warmer spring weather.
How are things where you live?

it snowed here today about 2 inches, now it is sleet....it should be in the 50's for saturday that for us maine folks is shorts weather!! whooo hooo.
but it can change on a dime around here......we will have about 2 weeks of spring when it does show up, then we get our fifth season with it, and it is a doozy around here MUD SEASON!!!

Ft. Myers and it's supposed to be high 80's this weekend. I'll miss the beautiful high 70's :sunny:

Well last thursday I got a foot of snow- and today was mid 50's and rainy. Now that we're into mid-March we can pretty much have anything from freezing, single digit temps to the 70's.

We don't usually get consistently warm until sometime late May or June. I know though, the year we bought our house (2002) it didn't get consistently warm until late June. I have photo's of our move which was the middle of June and we're in long pants and long sleeves, my neice was born June 7th of that year and all her pictures from the first few days- nobody's in shorts or anything- then Father's Day that year- I have photo's of us at a daytime picnic is pants and sweatshirts. I think that was a fluke of a June though.

I live in Alabama. It has been in the high 60s and 70s all week. I love the spring.

I live in tampa, and it has been in the mid 70's to low 80's. this is the perfect time of year! It only gets worse for the next 6 or 7 months!

It's supposed to be in the low 80's for the next few days here. It changes a lot this time of year, but tends to stay in the 50 - 80 degree range.

We probably won't have any more cold weather. It will be changeable for the next month or so, but by April 1st, we're cutting the lawn and using the swimming pool.

I'm in St. Louis and we've had a very mild winter. We've had some sporadic days with highs in the 70s in the last few weeks. It's supposed to be warm this weekend too. But, even in April we'll probably still have some chilly days--not wintery cold though.

It's been in the upper 40's to near 50 the past couple of days here, but there is a winter storm watch for northern MN tonight and we are supposed to get some snow/sleet/freezing rain/rain from it over the next couple of days, then get below freezing for a period again. Our average 'last chance of frost' day is May 15 (way too late for our tastes!)

Brrrrrrrrrr, I wouldn't be able to live in most of those states because of the cold weather.
It's usually in the 70s and 80s here. :sunny:

Here in Texas it is supposed to be in the upper 70's to mid 80's. I really don't expect to see much of a deviation of temps until May. Then we go through the ceiling. :sunny:

Already warm here. Probably will get a cold spell right around Easter though.

No snow for us this year. Spring is here already. We may have one cold snap before Easter (old wives' tale--DGM always said we could get a cold spell up until Easter). After Easter, the temps start climbing. I think it was late Oct this past year before we cooled off.

My old wives tale is that you don't put your winter coats away until the ice man comes. (Which is anytime after May 15th)

Last week we had a couple of days with temps in the 80's. The tree outside our dining room window started to bud last week and now is covered in tiny new leaves. Today was windy as all get out but it was warm enough to go around in a short sleeve polo shirt. DH said his mom always used to say you can't put your coat away until after Easter, but since I only wore it two or three times this winter I don't think I'll need it now!

I live in Portland, Oregon and it's been snowing all day. Sometimes it snows in January or February, so we weren't expecting it. I was completely surprised to walk out my front door and see everything covered in snow.
It's really hard to predict when it'll get warmer since it always seems to rain and rain and rain. Probably around mid-end of May it'll warm up.
I can't wait to move next year... :sunny:
