DH and I both go to Lenscrafters. My eyesight isn't too bad. I can actually see w/o my glasses . However, my DH has really bad eyesight and he's never had a problem with any of his prescriptions there.
Up until this past spring a private optometrist. Went to Sears-they said my eyes had gotten beetter, so prescription wasn't as strong-told me to give it 2 weekks for eyes to adjust-gave it three could not see as good as with old glasses-went back they remade the left lense but not right- still wasn't right went back they tested eyes with glasses and could not see very well with right eye but was okay with just a lense(the ones they tesst you with0 so they adjusted how I look thru my glasses and it seeeemmms a little better but not as sharp as I thinkit shoul be. This all started in April until the first ofjuly-in the meantime in June I did a mystery shop at the eye place in Wal-mart and had sunglasses made-they are terrifc I ssee great with them-they mad my prescription to what my old one was. Don't know if I should go back to Sears or jsut live with it- it is not real bad just not sharp as with my sunglasses. I know in 2 years i will go back to wal-mart
We have done Walmart for years till last year, then Walmart was out of network on vision care insurance, so now through a local optometrist. Both have been fine, never a problem. Walmart was always excellent.
I go to lenscrafters now and love them. Did walmart before me and other family members and had terrible trouble with the lenses and non caring employees. Had no trouble with Lenscrafters. Great Glasses.
