Where do they take your picture on Guardians?

Rode Guardians for the first time the other day and the picture is pretty hilarious. All three of us are looking in the same direction with mega-shocked looks on our faces. My long hair was also whipped around the front of my face a la mid-tornado.

None of us remembered the location of the photo flash. Anyone know when exactly during the ride it’s taken?

I think it's right as the acceleration/lift is ending, when your vehicle is about to turn back to face forward.

You can see the flashes in this video (fast forward to 1:30 for launch). Prior replies are basically correct, happens as you're making that first turn at the peak so you're looking ahead, roughly 8 seconds in:
