What a dude!!! He really sounds a lot like my DS - all focused and keen. Samuel's just come top in a Chemistry Olympiad (or something like that ) and confessed he'd tried hard as he specifically knew Uni selection boards looked favourably at the results!!! Where do our kids get all this sense from??? In my case, certainly not from me!!!

Fantastic news about your DS Chemistry results that's a great achievement .
It's so true though they seem so clued up on what the selection boards want, my DS if forever saying "that'll look good on my application" and my DH and I just look at one another and smile as it's happening so often now.
As for where they get all their common sense from...................I guess we're the lucky ones aren't we, it could all be so different
