Where ever and whenever the baby wants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I too am sooo relieved to see that people are coming around on this in 2006 finally! 11 yrs. ago, I used to get the dirtiest looks from people with my oldest....i didn't care however, because my baby was hungry and I was not going to hide out for the first 2 yrs. of his life. Once in the dead of winter my baby started crying from hunger in church, I couldn't go outside in the below 0 degree weather to nurse on a bench, so I very discreetly did it right then and there, I thought the people behind me were going to faint, they were so ridiculous about it. I turned around and said, "sorry, when my kid is hungry- he's hungry, I'm not going to starve him to make you comfortable,. "
I have a friend who just had her first baby, and her mother (old prude) has taught her it is wrong to feed in public. She hides in her car when she is out at a party or somewhere to feed. It is so strange to me, why on earth should someone feel ashamed to naturally nurse their baby. Don't make other peoples problems your own, just be discreet and don't be ashamed.
