Where can someone breast feed there child?

Mine were beyond breast feeding when we first went to WDW, but in this country I did it wherever, whenever they wanted feeding - I didn't flash my self about after all. I can't see why you wouldn't be able to do that there.

I am sure that you can in the baby care centres in the parks. I would go onto the Disney For Families board I think they will be able to help!

Going to WDW and just wondering where this could be done.

Not a question often heard from young men...

But, there are rocking chairs in the Baby Center, and plenty of benches for the experienced BFing mom.

Every park has a building called Baby Care or Child Care. I believe it is marked on the park map. It has changing tables and rocking chairs. It's also where CMs bring lost children. At the MK it is right behind the Crystal Palace.

I breastfed all over WDW. There is always a nice bench or a quiet ride or show. There should be no problem. I have never used the baby care centers as they weren't convenient for us bit I did go in the one in the MK by CP and it was really nice. princess:

You can breastfeed anywhere you feel comfortable. I personally like the Hall of Presidents and El Rio Tiempo.

Be warned though--breastfeeding can be a hot topic here

There are a bunch of great places to bf in the parks, many little nooks and crannies;) Each park does offer a baby care center that are the BEST!! Each one has a special place to bf a little one, some offer private rooms while others offer a quiet room with a few rocking chairs and low lighting. I also found during a lot of the darker shows (mermaid, ect..)and rides, I would also bf;)

I breastfed my babies all over property, anwhere they wanted. It's easy to be discreet, especially in dark rides. If you're the slightest bit uncomfortable or feel "exposed" the baby centers in each park are great, or you can always cover up with a receiving blanket or the like.

The movie in France was a nice place, as was the American show. Braindead on the name...

Oh, and the COP, and the Wedway People Mover!

Wherever you feel comfortable IMO! My kids were older at WDW, but after nursing 2 babies, I could be discreet just about anywhere. Have a great trip!

The People Mover was one of my favorite places to nurse. Haunted Mansion was good--I will keep thinking back to all of the places we nursed! Spaceship Earth was perfect (and rarely a line, so easy to get on to)

wherever you want! except please not in a toilet stall - who wants to eat on the toilet? :sad2:

if YOU would be more comfortable in the baby center, and some women are, then they are available for you. If your child is at the age where they are easily distracted and need a quiet place to focus on the task, then again the baby centers sound ideal. If you are accustomed to and comfortable nursing in a variety of places, please continue to do so at WDW. I saw lots of nursing babies on our recent trip and it always makes me smile and remember my own kids at that age.

I agree with the majority of posters on this -- feed wherever you are comfortable feeding. If you and your baby are comfortable being discreet than you'll find numerous benches on which you can take a time out for a feeding. If you're more modest, use the baby care areas.

There is nothing more natural than a mother breastfeeding her child, so as long as you're not being obscene about it feed away anywhere you'd like. Of course take my opinion for what it's worth since I am a breastfeeding mom.

Anywhere baby is hungry. :) The baby care centers are nice but not always convenient when it's time to feed. Each park has attractions that do well. At the MK, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority is great (and very seldom has anyone waiting so you can usually go around a 2nd time without getting off if baby hasn't quite finished yet), go see Mickey's Philharmagic, It's a Small World, Hall of Presidents, ride the train or the Riverboat. At Epcot Spaceship Earth is great as is Elen's Energy Adventure (nice long ride in the dark). Many of the theaters in World Showcase too. At AK, go see It's Tough to be a Bug. At MGM the Great Movie Ride is nice and long and dark. If you have someone else with you, ask the CM politely if you can be on the end of a row and have the other person in your party sit next to you as these are long bench seats (same with Ellen's at Epcot) or the Little Mermaid show. There are plenty of benches all around the parks too often in sort of out of the way, shady places too. At any of the sit down restaurants ask for a booth in a quiet area and just sit with your back to the majority of the room.

Enjoy your trip!

Everywhere but the bathroom :thumbsup2

Never feed your baby in the bathroom (my pet peeve) if someone suggests it tell them to go eat there if it is so nice. :rotfl2:

Yeah to so many supportive posts! My first thought was...anywhere they need to eat! My next thought was - at your breast of course but that is just my sad sense of humor....

I'm expecting #3 in August and with each one BFing is more comfortable and BFing in public becomes more necessary as the older ones want to be out and about instead of cooped up at home.

Enjoy your trip!!

Good, and this is the way it should be! I just cannot understand the prudish nature of people who frown on a baby being fed when it's a perfectly natural act.

The best ride I found was Spaceship Earth. Its dark, plenty of room, longish ride and no lines!

We took advantage of the baby care centers, especially the one at the MK. Not so much because we couldn't find a spot outside but I was hot, baby was hot and it was a nice break.

Yes, a teenage boy asking this question raises another question for me: Why? I hope that they were asking for a mom/aunt and not trying to get a better idea of where they can sneak a peek.
