Where are the hotel deals for October?

I plan on going to Orlando (doing DC only) in October for 5 nights. I called the Renaissance and they're sold out for that time period. The Residence Inn wants $134 for a studio room. The same room was only $89 when I originally planned on going Easter Week. Where are the deals for that time of year?

I think that the Halloween parade may make October a popular month. We are going Oct. 30th to Nov. 6th because in NJ it is the teacher's convention week. Our schools are closed 3 out of the 5 school days and many families go away. Don't know if these things effect what you describe. Check out condo rentals.

I have been asking myself the same question for about 2 months. I am also going for a week in October. I have been trying everything and today I recieved a Orlando Magicard, and some Orlando Info.... it has tons of accomodation discounts and some of them are cheaper than my AAA rates... I am actually considering renting one of the vacation homes. I have a res at Holiday Inn Family Suites which is nice but I know after a week there we are going to want a little more room and some privacy from our children. You can go to their website and they will send you the same packet I got. www.orlandoinfo.com There are alot of great offers for everything in it. If you want to stay on property then you will have to wait until the codes and Oct rates come out right now they are only quoting rack rates for rooms. Hope I helped you some.
