Where are the best french fries?

So my son LOVES french fries. They are his favorite food. I was wondering where are the best french fries in Disney World? Assuming only going to counter service/snack locations.

My definition of "best" = hot, crispy on the outside, good flavor (fresh oil, not old frying oil taste). Thanks!

All the CS fries taste the same to me...but the fries from the Plaza in MK are TO DIE FOR!

Most of the fries there taste the same to me - sometimes crisp, sometimes not. Definitely hit & miss And, I too, LOVE fries for a quick snack .
I used to be able to get the Mcd's fries and I really love them, but of course they are no more
So, I guess good luck finding them

If only doing counter then wolfgang puck express in the market place in DTD were the best fries, if you are looking for table at any point the planet Hollywood fries were the best from a table service we found

All the counter service fries are the same to me, too. Depends on how long they have been sitting under the warmer as to how crisp they are.

McDonald's french fries are sold at a booth at Animal Kingdom, that might be your best bet for a snack. And I think I've seen them at MK in Frontierland, too.

Edited: I see above McD's fries are gone? Didn't know that.

The BEST fries are the waffle fries at T-Rex Cafe, fresh, hot, and crispy.

But, if you are doing CS, all the fries are the same at the WDW restaurants. Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbour House in the MK are really good, they seem to get them out hot. I'm not a big fry eater, but I love WDW fries.

I liked the fries at Pecos Bills, too. DH & I shared a burger & fries there last year at MNSSHP. We ate more fries than burger.

Artist Point at Fort Wilderness Lodge are by far the best french fries I have ever had. They are truffle oil fries which makes them extra delicious. Seriously, best fries ever. We made an extra trip to this resort just for the fries one night.

The best I have ever had were at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. My DH had them with his porterhouse. Forget the filet, all I wanted were those amazing fries

The fries from the UK CS in EPCOT are my favorite!! Crispy outside and soft tasty inside. Add some vinegar and .You can use a snack credit for them too!

Next best goes to Le Cellier, closely followed by Yak and Yeti!

i agree with a lot of people in that i think most of the fries served on property taste pretty much the same. i'm sure they're all ordered from the same company. so my answer is hit the mcdonalds by the entrance of the allstar resorts or just past down town disney at the other end of resort row (past the hilton etc...). both are open 24 hours.

I LOVE Disney fries! Sometimes, if I can't find anything I want to order from the menu, I'll just order fries.
That said, if you don't like the CS fries at one place, you probably won't like them much anywhere else. They are pretty much the same everywhere. Luckily, I don't have that problem, but obviously others do.

Alternatively, I hate McDonald's fries since they changed them. Now I prefer Wendy's fries (to give you a frame of reference) unless they salt them too much.

I don't like McDonalds fries much any more either, unless they're hot and fresh. I hate Wendys new fries, they're horrible, I loved their homestyle fries that they used to have.

Plaza has the best fries!!!!!

Waffle fries (wherever u can get them) are so yummy! i had some at Walts in DLP and OMG delish!!!!!

I can't believe I am saying this, but I loved the fries with the fake cheese sauce at Pop last year. My DD and I shared these several time last year - they counted as one snack credit.
