So what are they going to do to fix this for you?

I'm curious about the answer to this too. My DS :littleangel: is a type 1 diabetic. Showing up at a place I have a reservation and not being able to eat just isn't going to work for him. For me most of my signatures are missing but the character meals are there. I guess I shoud feel lucky about that :confused3 Signatures are a bit easier to rebook this late in the game. I hate to call just to make them go through my ressies but they aren't showing up and I can't be without a back up plan.
 
Half of my ADRs are still missing. I haven't called yet, but after hearing that some people actually lost theirs in the system, I'm starting to worry! Is Dining open Sundays? :confused:
 
I've got a missing ADR too for Kona Cafe. I was able to go in and make another reservation just in case the original doesn't show up. If it's cleared up Monday, I'll post the cancelled on. It will be for Friday, 10/22 either 5:30 or 7:30 pm. It's for 4 people.

They did a major system upgrade that still has some issues. I read that they are going to bring the system down again on Tuesday/Wednesday to resolve the issues.

I have made new ressies and need to cancel my old ones. I am waiting for the system to come back up to do that.

NO WAY are they gone. The system is down. Like i said in about 1000 other posts, Disney would not simply erase your reservations. They'll come back up once this system does.
 
Only my Le Cellier reservation seems to be missing. Reading through the posts it seems to be one of the ones that is missing for a lot of people. So I am trying not to be concerned about it I am sure it will show up soon:rotfl::confused3:rotfl:
 
I checked my ADR's last night and only 2 out of 7 are showing up and when I tried to pull them up by confirmation number my computer froze and I had to shut down. I am to nervous to check for them this morning!. As of now I have lost Coral Reef, LeCellier, Les Chefs, Rose & Crown and Kona Cafe. The only ones that were still there are Garden Grill and Crystal Palace.

I will NOT PANIC!!!!!!

I too am wondering what they are telling people to do.

If everyone who called was able to have their reservations retrieved by the dining CM's I would be more inclined to agree with those who say "don't worry, when the system comes back up they'll be there". It just doesn't make sense that some people, for example, now have their character dining ressies back, but others don't. ie, if 'Ohana is back in the system why isn't it showing up for everyone?

I seriously hope being told to rebook isn't the only solution WDW dining is offering. Obviously there isn't going to be availability to replace what people have possibly lost.

Fortunately at this point only 2 of our ADR's arent' showing up. I will wait until the 20th/21st to see what happens and will then call if necessary.

Oh, and a note to those saying don't call ... if I try to manually retrieve our missing ADR's I actually get a message on the website telling me to call. They are telling people to call if they can't see their reservations.
 
I'm so relieved to hear that this is going on! I tried to get a list of all my ADRs to have on hand and it said I had NO reservations. Shouting at the computer screen, "Yes I do! We have the outfits all picked out for Akershus!" seemed pointless. When I tried to do it manually, it said to call. I'm going to wait a day or two as I'm sure they are flooded with calls right now.

Thankfully, I printed out my confirmation numbers when I made my ADR's. If they never show up in the system and I show up at the restaurant with the print out will they seat us?
 
I still cannot see our reservations for December. I tried to retrieve one by number and couldn't do that either. I am somewhat tempted to call Disney Dining, but don't want to be part of a stampede.

The best thing to do is to wait and let them fix the system and deal with any missing reservations, if any, when the dust has settled in a few days.

I was just wondering the same thing. I'm sure there are many, many folks out there that make their reservations and never check on them again to see if they are still in the system. So yeah, what happens if you show up with your printout fully thinking you are all set?:confused3
 
This is annoying. I really hope they get everything fixed soon. I still only have 4 of the 8 ADR's I have showing up. I hope if you kept your confirmation #'s and something happens and the ADR's that you did have got erased, they will still let you use them. Guess I'll just wait and see what happens after they mess with the system yet again. Seems kind of pointless to call now if they're just going to try to fix it in a few days. :confused3
 
Just as an FYI - the system outage on Oct 19 is a scheduled one with another scheduled for Nov and Dec. It isn't specifically going down to fix the dining but maybe it is one of the things they are looking at

I would call and re-confirm everything I wouldn't wait until the 20th
For the person that says their reservations are gone when she called I would make a stink about it with guest service. Since you have confirmation numbers they have to honor it somehow it isn't your fault that the system lost them somehow
