How is anyone even accessing reservations???? I can't load anything and I'm kinda worried about that. Is the site up for some and still down for others???

I'm not sure about the accessing issues , I can load mine but my Le Cellier isn't showing, so when my husband called wdw-dine they had a 25 minute wait, but there was a recording that said all missing adr's should be back online on the 20th...so I guess we wait and see

Excellent post. Many people are getting worked up over nothing. Please, take the information from other posts. Calling the dining reservation center is putting unnecessary stress on cast members let them work itout. Unless your vacation is as soon as mine is, you shouldnt be worrying.

My vacation starts October 21 and I'm not calling to check on my ADRs. I have the numbers from when I made them so I am assuming that I will have reservations when we get there.

This is getting pretty ridiculous!!! People, please do not pay attention to the disney website!!! It is still down!!! It would be nice if disney would just post something on their site saying this...but they obviously have not. Every single person who called and spoke to a CM has confirmed that their ressies are still there. Yet, every person who doesn't see their ressies online is in a state of panic. Calm down...relax...think happy thoughts. It will all be over soon. Stop checking the website and you will feel better. Or maybe you should drive down there and speak to someone in person. Breeeeeeathe...

It would help if they would put up a notice. They stated it would be up today and of course it is not. Now they are saying the 20th.

I hope they are still there, as Dining could not find mine. I wanted to cancel one and I can't because we can't find it. :headache:

So no, not everyone that has called has been able to locate theirs. :(

Ok, so not everyone who called in has theirs located, some people made them and they don't even have a confirmation # b/c they were relying on the website to keep track of all their reservations. Just relax; the system will be up eventually. Again, what makes you think :littleangel: DISNEY :littleangel: would completely lose your reservation in the system? They'll get it worked out.

Not true, actually. The CM I spoke with was only able to find the one reservation I had a confirmation number for. She was unable to locate my other reservations by searching for either my phone numbers or name (I think she also used my zip code with my name). I didn't go to the trouble to have her do an exhaustive search - she offered and I declined. I sat on hold for nearly 20 minutes to change a Pirate's League ressie, I wasn't going to spend another 20 minutes having her try and go through my dates and times trying to find my reservations. :headache:

just checked my 3 adr's online - no sign of them. even entered conf #'s manually - ng. they are for oct 18, 19, & 20, so the system finding them on 10/20 doesn't help. fortunately, I do have the confirmation e-mails to print.
I'll post an update if it looks like the info would help anyone, although I presume otheres will be there before I will, and will want to share.:rotfl:

Because they are the Masters of messing things like this up, even the CM at Dining was totally disgusted with the entire mess.

She was very nice and I was calm, but I am not convinced everyone will come thru this unscathed.

She could not find mine by Res. #, name, phone number or even restaurant. :sad2:

Yes, because their system is glitchy atm. Doesn't mean your reservation is gone.

I wouldn't be concerned if they were all gone as much. But considering they still have record of some, and others are missing....that makes me feel like they are just gone.

Simple explanations below...

That means that they are trying to run a fix to make the adrs show up. When the data is "in tranist" ie that system is being worked on, you get an error when you try to access it....Apparently, they aren't done getting everything back up and running.

and

It would appear the database is being re-indexed, or otherwise refreshed. It is more than likely a massive file and as they are still allowing new reservations to come in as well as display the old ones... well it is a low priority background task that probably takes hours (if not days) to complete.

....Databases that large save data in a way that is efficient for the computer to retrieve info, not what makes sense to us.

Exactly.

Hey, I don't have all of my ADRs showing either. As was stated pages ago, I have ONLY the character meals showing up (and lunchtime Tusker House, which is a character meal place, just not for all meals). Going by bonoriffic's idea, it means previously-made character meals are on a higher priority to re-index in this fix. The others aren't as high a priority.

Having worked customer service before, you're going to get outlandish, wrong, and just plain stupid things being said by some CS CMs. Like..."they must have been canceled" and nonsense like that. Or the CM not knowing what the "phone tree" voice is saying (all ADRs will be showing by the 20th)...actually that's pretty common. Usually this sort of lack of knowledge is caused by *incredibly busy CMs being yelled at to GET ON THE PHONES because the phones are blowing up with people calling in* not having any time to actually read their email messages, if the higherups have thought to send out those email messages with the new info.

CMs seem to have big gaps in knowledge anyway, bigger than many companies I've dealt with, and this is going to make it even worse.

Disney's IT department seems to have a tiny budget, but I haven't seem them lose reservations or ADRs etc etc before...I figure they will all show back up.

And with all the people doubling up their exact reservations, I guess we will soon see if they really do cancel duplicate reservations!

When I checked last night, none of mine were showing. Now 2 of 7 are displayed. Luckily I have all my conf#'s but one, so I'm not going to worry too much about it yet. Will give them a few more days to sort it out...

Editing to add (after reading the above post) that the 2 of mine that are showing are both Character meals...

Seems like it would be very hard to do unless you're very close to your 180 days anyway. I just booked some backups for the ones I REALLY wanted (Le Cellier and 'Ohana) and they were at different days/times since that's all I could get (so a lunch on a day I only had a dinner booked or vice versa). Nothing should signal it to cancel those and I will cancel them once my others show up for sure! Although now that I have an 8:20 'Ohana instead of the 6:30 I had on MSEP nights, I'm thinking the 8:20 might be better and allow us to see MSEP first and then head over there rather than missing it like we were thinking we'd have to do. So I may cancel the original one if I can ever pull it up!

I'm so glad that I found this thread. I just got home from work & wanted to make some changes to our ADRs. Boy was I freaked out when only three of them showed up: 2 character meals & Tusker House for lunch (just like others have posted). ***, Disney? I sure do hope they get it together before 10/20 and everyone's ADRs survive this mess.

Showing up: Ohana, LTT

Not showing up: Le Cellier, Raglan Road, Captain's Grill, Coral Reef, Chefs de France

None of mine are showing up! The only problem is I had been looking to see all the different times they had available and I kept canceling and then changing times! So now I have no idea which ADRs I still have! I know I should have been keeping up better, but I didn't expect for them all to disappear! Now what do I do? Call or wait to see what happens with the system? This is so frustrating!!!

Most of mine showed back up, there are still three missing. Not 100% sure of the times for them. I hope they show back up soon...

I'm missing all of mine for my trip next weekend (four total) and am missing one for my trip in January (3 showing - 1 not).

This is so frustrating. I actually wanted to cancel some for next weekend but really hate calling as it is a pain in my behind.

I am trying to get on to cancel some of mine and I can't pull any of them up manually. About 2 months ago all of my vanished from my list. When I called IT support they said that it is a new system and they might eventually show back up but there was nothing they could do. I did get them all manually at that time.

I need to cancel some and I didnt have time to get on to do it before the system went down. I only have 3 days to do this we leave at 5 am on check in day...:headache: Guess I have to get on the phone and hold forever and cancel them with a CM

For those saying some things are coming back at different times, I am missing every single reservation I made before the system "enhancement" - that includes:

Non-character:
Sci-Fi
Raglan Road
Le Cellier x 2 (one lunch, one dinner)
Coral Reef

Character meals:
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Akershus
Tusker House
1900 Park Fare
CRT (they were able to find this one with my confirmation number)

I'm still not going to call, but I can't understand how none of those are showing if the database were, as others have suggested, becoming accessible/searchable a location at a time with character meals as a higher priority. :confused3 I would think at least one or more of those character meals would have made an appearance by now. Heck, they've only been missing two days now, right? :sad2: I'm just hoping for some news before the NEXT "enhancement" in four days.
