Looking for some advice on the best place to stand to watch WISHES at MK.

Thanks,
Tammy

We sat down on the corner from Main St. looking at the Castle. We really sat there to watch Spectromagic, thinking it would come from the Castle, oops.

We had great seats for the parade and we had perfect seats for Wishes. It was very crowded and did take some time to get out of the park after- but who cares we were on vacation :)

soccermom, you can see the fireworks from anywhere, but to see Tinkerbell fly down from the castle, and the light show which changes colors on the castle, you need to watch it from the main street area. We stood in front of the Crystal Palace to watch it a few weeks ago and it was great!

How loud are they? DD is scared of the noise when they are shot off, not the actual fireworks. She'll watch from the car on the 4th of July as long as she can't hear the booms! I've heard you can watch them from the beach at the Poly (which is where we'll be staying), but can you still hear the story and music that goes along with them? Really, really want to see them, but I've heard it's the storyline that makes it, not so much just the fireworks.

I've watched it twice from the Rose garden area and the view was great. There are a few trees, so just make sure they won't block your view.

The fireworks from the poly beach were beautiful but we could not hear the music/story. We did see tinkerbell.

The booms were much less from the poly

I had thought I read somewhere that they pipe in the Wishes music at either the Poly or Contemp beaches - or was it the boat docks??

Well, I can tell you where NOT to see it. We were standing on the bridge to Tomorrowland. It's a great spot to see Tink, but the music is out of sync because of the reverbiration from the rocks in the pond and the walls around the Plaza Inn. It was very frustrating. We came back another night and stood in front of the castle with a great view. Unfortunately, the closest speaker wasn't working correctly and the sound was bad there too. Oh well, be bought the CD!

I enjoyed Wishes from in front of the castle/end of Main Street. Another night I saw part of them from the Fantasyland area and didn't enjoy them NEARLY as much!

I posted this on another similar thread a few minutes ago, but here it is in this thread as well. We took this from the end of Main St. I have many more, but they're too big to post here. If anyone would like to see them, feel free to let me know. Enjoy!

(PS: If it doesn't show up right away, right click on the picture and click on Show Picture. For some reason, it won't let me see it so I dont' know if anyone else has the same problem) :D

Stood on the bridge to tomorrowland, and while we had a great view of Tinkerbell, the audio/music was extremely hard to hear. Plus tall trees partially obstructed our view. The bridge was crowded too. Next time I will stand on Main St.

A great spot for us was on the walkway between the tip board and the crystal palace. We were right at the rail so no one could stand in front of us. Perfect view of the castle.
