When's your Spring Break?

With Easter being in March next year, our Spring Break is really early - March 6-12. Wondering how the rest of the country's Spring Breaks are affected by the early Easter? Might I hope for a Spring Break trip with low crowds??

Our spring break always follows the Easter timeframe. Next year it will be the entire week before Easter thru Tues after Easter.

Our springbreak next year isn't until the last week in April. Seems later than everyone else's, that's why I was thinking of going to
WDW then, but looks like it will be Aug. 2005, can stay 10 days then instead of 5 or 6 in April.

Our Spring Break up here on Long Island is April 25-29. This is the first year it is on the Passover week and the first year we don't get the day after Easter off. It's very strange. It's not much of a Spring Break because it's so late, but our Winter break is at the end of February, so I guess they needed at least a couple of months in between.

All I know is that the Disney Cruise we're taking hopefully won't be that crowded, because I don't think any other states take off for Passover. I know a lot of parents upset because the kids aren't off for the Easter week, so my guess is it won't happen again.

Our Spring Break is April 18th thru the 22nd. We are going that week for my 40th Birthday. WooHoo!
Hoping that the off time Spring Break will make for slightly lighter crowds.... But even if it's packed, we'll still have a great time....

Up here in Ontario our Spring break is from March 14th to the 18th... I'm just looking at the school calendar and we will be back for 4 days then Easter break and then the week after Easter we also have an early dismissal day (kids get out at noon for teacher's to do PD)

Here in central Ma our break starts with Patriot's Day..4/18.

As a homeschooling family..... ours is WHENEVER WE WANT!!! We are leaving on a 2 week vacation next week -- it's great to plan things when WE want, not someone else's schedule. (Also, usually get better 'off season' rates)

Ours is also March 6-12, and we're taking our 2 DS's ages 5 & 8 out 2 1/2 days early so we can be at WDW March 2-12. Ours is not tied to Easter at all, and it always seems to be early/mid March. I'm hoping for low to moderate crowds. We're also going over XMAS, so I'm definitely expecting our March trip to be uncrowded relative to that!

Our break is Easter week. We were thrilled. Every other year, it has encompassed Passover week so we couldn't vacation that week due to the holiday. Finally, we will get to go away for Spring Break since Passover isn't until late April. We leave March 26 on a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival Glory. Another week with Funship Freddie (see photo).
