Had a waitlist for 2 nights in Oct at Grand Californian since May but I still stalk several times daily. Tonight one of the nights pops up. I frantically go to book, select my contracts, and then hit confirm only to see the dwarfs!!! So disappointing. Of course that night is gone. Assume this happens bc someone else did the same and hit confirm before I did?

Shes correct, once the date is selected your account is holding the room. The Dwarfs could be all sorts of different errors including you selecting a contract that you cannot borrow on (at the 50% limit), or a contract that is resale for example. If you log out and then log back in, it should release the room and then if your quick enough you can get it again.

When I first read the title is was expecting to read that excessive alcohol and the.police were involved .

When you're in the checkout screen you are holding it. It used to time you out after an hour, I think they stopped after this borrowing/website mess.

If you can get to MS before the last screen, you're still holding it. The screen you want to stop on is the one where you are allocating which contract to use.
