When you buy an AP online....?

I'm assuming I know the answer to this, but I wanna make sure anyways.

I purchased an AP on Disney's website - Now, does it get activated the day I pick it up and use it for the first time, or the day I purchased it? In other words, is it good 365 days from the date of purchase or 365 days from the day of first use?

You will get an exchange card. The AP becomes active when you exchange this for the actual AP when at the parks. It will be valid for 365 days from the date of exchange.

Got my AP voucher in the mail a couple weeks back. You can access the AP web site areas with it, but it does not activate or start counting days until you activate it at WDW.

I just printed up the will call voucher, and will exchange that at Animal Kingdom. I've already booked my room with the AP rate, so no real need for the AP site until I get down there.
