When will BCV sell out?

I am desperately trying to convince my DH to buy into DVC. I have 3 trips to WDW scheduled in the next 9 months (OKW - August, BWV and BCV in December and BWV in March 2003). DH will only be with us (DD and me) in Dec and March. So - to give him some "ownership" in the decision making process, I would like him to see each resort before I try to convince (coerce?) him. :)
So to make a short question long... we will not be seeing BCV until December - will that be too late to buy there? We have visited the Boardwalk area (he loved it) - so buying there would be fine with me - but I think he may love BCV given SAB. We have a 2.5 year old - and I KNOW he will love playing there with her.
thanks in advance for your thoughts on this...

After we bought in at BCV last month, my guide told me they were on pace to sell out in March.

There are many factors that can change the estimated sell out date. Some members have been told that BCV will sell out by the end of this year. My Guide has always told me that it will probably be 'by the end of the First Quarter ,2003.
Early sales have been brisk, but will probably slow. The current economic news (partially good -economic growth and partially not so good- Worldcom) will have an effect on sales.
The resale market is always a source for points.

Thanks gang! I think that will give me some time to check it out for myself...I have been looking at re-sales - but I am taking everyone's advice to "buy where you want to stay" - so if BCV really "does it" for us - then I will fork over the extra cash (ouch!). :) However, I have seen some BWV re-sales that are looking attractive...as long as I have time to potentially get BCV, I am satisfied. thanks again.

Why not head to the other DVC resorts in August.... Have Dinner on the Boardwalk, then WALK over to Epcot and watch Illuminations..... then WALK to the BCV and stroll SAB..... before heading back to OKW (our first home!)

My husband was reluctatant to buy in...... then 15 minutes after we got to our 2 bedroom villa at OKW he said LETS DO IT! I said Here??? WHile the kids are awake??? <snort>

Good luck and keep us posted!

I agree with you. We always do it (that is, agree to buy Disney points) while the kids are asleep!;)

My only problem is that in August, my husband won't be with me...And my sister does not "understand" the DVC concept (so she won't be any help convincing my husband!). She keeps saying that they won't go to Disney that often - but her daughter is 6, and this will be her 4th trip to Disney in the last 4 years... :) I think i will take her over to BW though - and see what she thinks of the BWV and BCV... maybe I can convert her too! :) I will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks again for the help.
