When will '09 dates be released?

For those of us (ok, me) not well versed in the itineraries of other cruise lines, where are the mistakes? That might help us decide if it's a "spill the beans" or a "TA is clueless" situation.

Ok they do not cross Bahamas and also Panama, -Bahamas is Castaway cay Magic/Wonder and also Nassau twice a week on the Wonder, their research isn't too good.

Could possiblly forgive Panama as there has been two crossings to date and two planned for 2008.

Not to mention.....DCL hasn't been to Alaska, at least NOT YET...........

Well thats the point, I think this quality Travel agency knows too much, they know that DCL is stopping its Bahamas cruises, DCL is selling Castaway cay, not going through Panama, but going to Alaska, ( the long way around)


Now on a serious note with all your connections at DCL, couldn't you get us an exclusive on the release dates and ports, Now that would be one rumor that would interest you.

The DCL Rep we spoke with had just returned from HK..

I like the way Hong Kong sounds. Just like the OP said, maybe an advanced scouting trip for 2010. I definately want to be on that one!

I have already written an e.mail to them requesting information on the DCL Alaska cruise, they came back very quickly, it leaves Barcelona every Saturday in June and July 09.

They said I need a Russian visa! and a Ski lift pass.

I have a feeling it may be a little while, since they went to the expense of printing and distributing all of these with no 2009 info.

Intersting but also I have seen this before even at the WDW resorts where they have a DCL desk the DCL information was out of date.

Currently I think we are looking at by early December the first quarter of 09 released.

Standard Wonder and Magic cruises, special ones will follow later.

Maybe that agency posted DCL as Alaska because of the special arrangement DCL has with Holland America for Alaska????? Just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. The rest of the misinformation......

I can reveal the truth on the Alaska mystery, the travel agent misunderstood the menu, she read Baked Alaska and thought it was the destination.
