Bounce back offer?

That’s my motto. But tbh I never get a bounceback offer to know how I would really feel about it.
They don’t reach out to you. There’s supposed to be a card or similar in your room, telling you to call a certain number no later than 7 days after you check out to find out what offers they have. If we knew when we were there that we’d need to book a cash stay in future, I’d call to check. But that hasn’t happened yet!

I havent seen the card and I think it was maybe @Genie+ who said they now load up to your offers online but when I checked it wasn’t there.

LOL, I’ve never noticed either, so I can’t say! But if you’re really curious, guess what, there’s a thread for that!

The card isn’t always obvious. It’s just a regular sized sheet, placed inside the resort wide guide that’s in the room. If you don’t usually look at that, you’ll definitely miss it. They also usually send an email. There is also information on the TV guide channel. It’s a line between stations, you select it & it shows on the TV screen. Online, check the Special Offers section on the website. The online offer & email will say something like Keep the Magic Going or Save on Your Next Stay. Since you go regularly, just know for the future, every registered adult guest is always eligible. You don’t need any special invitation to participate. You can call ext 8844 from the room phone, or CRO within 7 days of checkout. If you do find it in the Special Offers section, you can book online yourself during the eligibility period.

I wanted to remember to call last time but totally forgot.

I just completed a DVC stay at Polynesian and saw the card in my room, but I remembered someone saying it would be added to my online account, which it was when I went to the regular Disney Hotel site and searched for options. Also, I believe they allow 14 days now from checkout.

That being said, the dates are fixed, and when I checked a handful of dates within their listed dates (mostly the last week of October and a lot of days in November) it was hard to find any availability. For starters, you basically needed a 5-night stay to have any special rates show up. And even then, the only deluxe options available were Saratoga, OKW, or maaaaybe Kidani.

I think bounceback can be a great option if you are looking for a cheap cash stay inbetween DVC stays, and are fine being at a value like AoA (we saw 5-nights in an AoA family suite for $2,200). But anything beyond that, you can likely just buy a rental from someone for the same price.
