When was your first exposure to Disney?

I watched the original Mickey Mouse Club as a toddler- not reruns- but do not remember it.
First exposure to a Disney attraction was at the New York Worlds Fair 1964/65
Saw Its a Small World , Carousel of Progress , World of Motion there

Did not make it to a Disney Park until 1985- I was 31

My parents took me to the NY Worlds Fair too. I don't remember It's A Small World (although my mother said we rode it), but I have vague memories of Carousel of Progress (the rotating theater, not the actual show).

Not sure what World of Motion was.

First visit was 1974. My parents were already in Florida for a vacation and I flew down for a few days while they were there. We went to MK for the day. I remember going on Space Mountain, but that's really all I remember.

My first ride was Space Mountain. We were there before rope drop and ran right to it when the park opened, as did hundreds of others. It was maybe a 10 minute wait. Later that night my father and I rode again and it took well over an hour.

the mid-90's when Mickey Mouse as a fashion statement was prominent

What do you mean "was prominent?" You mean...it's over?:faint: I have MM or WDW on practically every shirt/sweatshirt/jacket I own:eek: Oh wait, I'm an old man who can wear whatever he wants because he doesn't give a flip what anybody thinks. Nevermind! :earboy2:

:thumbsup2 Keep rockin' the look! As I remember it though, back in the mid-90's you could buy Mickey Mouse apparel everywhere from Nordstroms to Wal-Mart. You have to actually seek it out now.

First Disney experience was at a conference in Anaheim when I was in college in 2001. Friends from another university had been given a few extra tickets in error and gave to our group so we could go to California Adventure with them. I went to Disneyland a few days later with the ticket I had as part of my conference fee. I haven't thought about that in ages! Had so much fun with those people!
