I think it was that short-sleeve shirt and tie you were wearing! :p

:p :p :p

It probably was the suit I was wearing at the time (I came right from work -- some idiot decided the middle of the week would be a good time for a graduation   )

Ahhh, how it's nice to be in a "business casual" world now. :teeth: :teeth:

UGGG when I saw for the very first time a tv add for a CD series of Classic 80's music!! HEY, UM HELLO, when did the 80's become classic years:sad: Good lord those were my HS days!!! I was so misserable that day! not to say there havent been many many more of these uggg im getting old days!!

Actually, I had another big one Sunday when my oldest DS graduated HS:sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

I immediately felt old when I read the OP's post. Late 20s??? Come on:eek: ... And then there was the other poster who realized her oldest sister just turned 40!!! At age 40 myself, these posts made me feel archaic.

When the music that you grew up on from the '70s and '80s is now playing on "oldies" stations!!!

Oh yes. Iremember when the DJ on a station played a Hall and Oats song and called it an oldie. I'm in the car going no way is it an oldie I bought that album the day it came out, with money from my own paycheck.

The most recent moment was a coupld of weeks ago when DS turned 15. No way am I old enough to have a kid with a learners permit. LOL prro thing still doesn't have it. I think I keep coming up with reason to not do it. ti isn't because I'm afraid of teaching him how to drive, it is because I can't face that I'm old enough to be teaching my kid to drive LOL. Promised we would do it tomorrow, but now both kids are in bed sick.

A few weeks ago when I posted about a mom from my daughter's softball team who called me "middle-aged". I was outraged, but then MANY DISers agreed with her that 41 really IS middle-aged. I've been depressed ever since. :sad1:

My eight yr. old nephew and I practice Ti Quan Do togethor. He is getting his black belt. He told me that it is not okay to fight with girls, but it's okay to fight with you because you are old!

Lol, and I'm only in my twenties!:earseek:

When someone gave me a copy of a newspaper article, and I was moving it in and out trying to focus cause the print was so small! Maybe I need bifocals? But that makes me feel old.

I do have to say that I got carded this year when we went to a concert. And I'll be 40 in September!
