We are going to WDW the week before Christmas.
We keep a lot of things as a surprise for our boys. It's fun to have surprises, they don't ask us every day if today is the day and if something happens we don't have to explain to them why we can't go to (fill in the blank). With that being said...I don't know when to tell them about WDW. We have told them that we can plan on going in a few years, so we have already started talking about it. My original thought was to tell them the morning we are headed to the airport (or maybe even at the airport). But now I am wondering if I should tell them a few weeks ahead of time. I just don't know??? Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

and I went through the same thing as you. Originally we planned to tell the kids AT the airport, then changed to that morning when they got up. Now we are set in telling them on Monday night. Right now my excitement is bubbling over. But I keep telling myself I've waited 5 months to tell them, what's one more weekend?!?!?!
