When to go?

I'm having a hard time figuring out when to go next year. Here are the dates I'm thinking about...6/3/06-6/13/06 POR $1728.40 crowds levels 7's and 8's or 11/17/06-11/26/06 two POP rooms(youngest turned 3) $2013 crowd levels 6's and 7's or 12/15-12/26 two POP rooms $1964.16 and crowd levels 3, 5's, 6's and two 10's.

We go the first week in December and it is GREAT! Low crowd levels and the weather is warm enough to make us New Englanders happy! I would go 11/17- 11/26 if I were you or the ones in December. IMO you could not PAY me enough to go in June, way too hot for us, added to the crowds. Goodk luck!

I really think you might be happier in two POP rooms, rather than 1 POR room. Just think 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. As to the time of year, I am always partial to Christmastime at WDW. For your dates.

I think the 12/15 to 12/26 time would be best overall because:

a. Christmastime at WDW is great and special, all the parks and resorts will be decorated,
b. the weather is generally much more pleasant than June (esp. if you are not from the South)
c. you get the advantage of some slower days at the parks at the start of your trip,
d. if money is a factor, you have a bit longer to save for it.

I talked to my older two boys and they said they don't want to go in June. So now I'm down to November or December. The boys would only miss one day of school either time.

My family always goes Thanksgiving week (with only a few exceptions) and we love that time of year. Nice, mild weather, more affordable and the crowds are not horrific. We'll be there 11/18/06 - 11/25/06 @CSR. We have always been able to use the pools in Nov. (Except for one freak year when temps. dipped to freezing and we just weren't brave enough.) The Christmas decorations are up for Thanksgiving without the Christmas crowds. I hope you'll have a wonderful time whichever you choose.

Would get my vote,lower crowds and WDW during holidays is awesome.

I've never been in WDW during the holidays, but that is something that we're starting to plan now for next year. I think that would be a great time of year to be there! The beginning of June will be hot, and schools in the southern states are out for the summer. Thanksgiving, I'm sure, is really crowded. So my vote is for December! Hopefully I'll be there with you!
