When should I go to avoid the most crowds???

Last week of Feb - after school vacation week or sometime in March???

I'd go the last week in February or first in March. Any other time in March is likely to be busy. Both of the times you mentioned will still be a bit busy too. If you really want low crowds try the first week of February. A really great time weather and crowd wise.
