we purchased on Thursday thru Disney (BWV). when can we expect the contract and other info?

Also, can anyone tell me what the current discounts are that are available to DVC members?

thanks.... :sunny:

Expect a FedEx package in a few days......
Current discount are $100 AP's and some dining discounts through out Disney. Not sure of the list but once you get your DVCMEMBER pin for the computer you can get a list of the current discounts. The AP discount is the big one...

I made a deposit tonight and my guide said that I should have the paperwork by Friday!!

I believe they send out the paperwork Fedex 2nd Day. It's actually a new member kit that contains all the contract documents, temp. member cards, member handbook, vacation planner and a nice tote bag. You will receive your Club ID for the member website, but the PIN number is mailed separately. You need both to logon to the website where they have (or at least I assume) an updated list of member discounts.

The real wild card is how busy the contract preparation folks are. We have bought direct through Disney four separate times. Our paperwork took anywhere from 4 days to nearly two weeks to get to us depending on how busy they were.

I just closed last thursday. I have not received any package as of yet from DVC but I have my membership number. I called and purchased 2 AP's for $355.71 each ($100.00) of the regular price (not the premium pass). They are sending me a voucher to bring with me when I arrive down there. I have to pickup the passe's at Magic Kingdoms Guest Services. Once my voucher arrives at my house I can call Disney Dining Experience and purchase the 1 card for my husband and I for $60.00 which gives you 20% off most of the restaurants including alcoholic beverages. The DVC membership gives you 10% off certain restaurants.

I didn't take that into consideration. I put my deposit down the day after the new incentive started so they may not have been as busy as they are now. I got my kit pretty quickly, but I am still waiting on my PIN numbers.
