When to book flights?

I am looking at traveling to Disney in September and will probably fly Allegiant out of Grand Rapids, MI as we like their trip flex option should we have to cancel. How far in advance do you book flights with Allegiant? Right now they have $69.99 each way but I see in June they have flights from 19-69 so I just don't know how long to hold out. I know that they change their flight prices all of the time so I don't know if I should hold out for another month or even 2 months. Any one have any recommendations on what to do?

Hi,

Checking airfare prices is like investing in the stock market! Sometimes you look really smart by waiting, and sometimes, well...not so smart. Sometimes the price will go up, and sometimes it will go down.

Are you a gambler? My opinion is: if you are comfortable with the price now you should book it.

DH always says "When you find a price you can live with, BOOK IT."

Even with the add on fees, I would be quite content with $69.
