How far in advance do you usually get the address and check-in info from the owner? We arrive 4/6.

If your balance is all paid up and cleared I would have thought you would have the check in information by now - it can vary depending on check in details (ie if lock box codes have to be changed), but as you are travelling so soon maybe a nudge to the owner might be in order.

Our check-in packages have usually appeared in our inbox at time of final/full payment...but I know some owners - for the reasons Sunrisedream mentioned- will give you the key code/lockbox codes just before arrival.

We send everything immediately except the codes for the gates and access to the house. Once those are assigned, (usually about 2 weeks) then they get those too!

Thanks everyone. We are paid in full, have been since February. I will email them now and see. Teh owner hasn't been the best communicator, so hopefully he will respond soon.

I will be checking in to one also on the 6th and I got my stuff yesterday. Of course, I didn't even book it until two days ago but they sent the check info as soon as my credit card went through.

We get our codes by e-mail 30 days out. We've had them for 10 days now, and leave in 21 days.

We did not get our villa address until we went to the Rental Agency office to hand in our travel voucher. We stayed at Orange Tree resort and we rented through an agency.
Gorgeous home with no problems. Egret Hill Drive. Good price too could not find it cheaper anywhere else.

When guests have paid in full and sent us the final information we send out the final checkin instructions and directions.

That's usually 6 weeks prior to arrival.

We got our code and street address only 72 hours out, via email.

Previous 2 years we got the info a few weeks prior to the visit.

We send our out with the final payment. It just makes it easier for me to remember to send it out and not forget! I have not done that yet, but I would not be surprised if I do that at some point! LOL

I've rented numerous times and have had numerous circumstances-
Last time- we just returned on the 29th, we received the information the day we paid off the balance in full (2 weeks prior to our arrival), time before that we used a mgmt company and arrived during closed hours so received instructions to a lock box at their office to retrieve house keys and address, and time before that received all info 72 hrs before arriving. You should be able to get the phone # from the house regardless as you may need to leave this as contact info at rental car agency or your home etc.

This time we recieved the instructions upon payment of the balance, last tim e we did not recieve them until a week before we were due to arrive, it obviously depends on the owner!
