When is tiering going away?

I just have a hunch that when they "give" something back on FP, they're going to take something else away.

I don't doubt that for a moment. Effectively they are just switching things around. Never mind the magic - that's magician status isn't it - the art of illusion (or delusion).

Trouble is they take something away and then they reinstate half of it and make a song and dance to try persuade you that you're getting something 'extra'

Could we soon see threads telling people ways to get their too tall kids to make it under the bar on headliner rides? Slouch kiddo, slouch! Go later in the day when spines are compressed! Wear only the flattest of flip-flops!

Or worse yet the " TTC (trying to conceive) in time for next years trip at Christmas. How many times can ride with rider swap again?" threads.

If only there was a way to make my 42-inch DD shrink 2.1 inches. I had her practice slouching, but I don't think it's going to be enough.
In my defense, I would have joined my DH in getting a FP+ for Splash if DD was allowed to ride HM with her 12-year-old sibling as chaperone.

FP+ is teaching children the Law of Supply and Demand, as well as Commodities and Hedging Strategies!

Does disney offer info on fp+ and tiering on their website or is that info only available when it comes time to choose your fp? (New to all things FP+, trying to educate myself for our October trip)

Disney really isn't telling people about Tiering until you actually go and try to BOOK your FP+s.

Its pretty interesting.

The information might be available if you looked for it on the website, I am not actually sure. But they certainly aren't advertising the system with tiers, in a lot of their advertising for it, it actually implies there is NO tiering.
