When is slide to be completed at OKW?

I thought I read somewhere that it was supposed to be done by January 2005. I could be completely mistaken though.

Does it say on the member website at all?

I'm glad that someone posted this question. We were thinking of a surprise 5th birthday trip for DD the first week of October. Does anyone know when the construction will start? Thanks!

Construction is set to start in September and they are going to try and have it ready by the end of the year. (I bet they'd like it open for Christmas Week.)

Thanks for the info! Do you know if everything around the pool will be closed off? (Such as the kids play area and other surrounding 'fun stuff'?) DD just loves OKW, and everything that goes along with it...

I think they are re-working the whole area around the main pool, so I would suspect everything in that area would be closed. The other three pools are all fairly nice though, and each has a playground area.

OK, good. So I would be safe to assume it would be finished by April 2005? My daughter was bummed PC didn't have a slide this past trip so I want to make sure the slide is done or else we might stay somewhere else. She loves the slides! I haven't ever stayed at OKW and would really like to try it out.

I called MS a while back and was told construction is scheduled to begin Early fall of 2004 and be complete before the years end. I am booked for early Dec (3-12) @ OKW and when booking this I asked again about the scheduled completion date of the OKW slide and was told "it might be done" but they could not guarantee anything. So I would assume by April 05 it should most definitely be complete. I'm crossing my fingers for a Nov. completion date personally...
