Continuing in MK-

After the Plaza pepper girl lunch I tooled around TL a bit. Super crowded so I eventually headed for the exit.

Cruising down Main Street.

One last look because tomorrow we were going home.

Stopped for a PP on the way out.

On the way out I HAD to get a holiday bucket of popcorn.

But wait am I taking the bus back or something else???

I will leave this tease here to see how much of dork the rest of you are.

Our big meet every year draws most of the elite athletes. Some are very sociable, like Ryan Lochte who is usually on deck and clowning around a bit and soem like Michael Phelps just stay to themslves. I respect that but Phelps is getting reputation for having an elitist attitude- i just think he wants his privacy and after the last time he got in trouble does not ant any ammunition to possibly use against him.

thats cool that he is like that, you can sort of sense that in his interviews after he swims that he is more down to earth and laid back...alot of athletes take things to seriously and need to realize that for the most part they are playing a game and having fun for a living and to just relaxe and not take it so serious.

Maybe one more run to Epcot, but doing the monorail resort loop sounds like a possibility too. I just love those Christmas decorations.

I have to say a little goodby to each park as I leave it. This last trip we only had 1 day in each park so it was hello and goodby in one day.

Everytime I read a report from NYE it just reinforces my desire to NEVER be at WDW during that time. Holy crowds batman!

Lochte is having a couple of rough swims after his big win. Neither the realy or the 200 is THE event so I hope he does well inthe 200 IM.

no ducking. I know how hard it is to keep up.
This should have been done and every time I think I am almost there..... life gets in the way.

NYE does have its crowds but it is also such a great time to go. You need to do it at least once.

As Dan and many others guessed, I am at the monorail station.

Here comes my ride.

Looking at the construction at GF. First a wonderful view.

I wonder if this is a special suite complete with personal porch, palm trees and chairs.

Much progress has been made but this was in Jan.

After arriving at the TTC I went down to the busses.








Am I going here?

NOPE

Going here – It was 3pm and I wanted to catch a special holiday parade. It was on the way back really.

Don't forget there are busses at the TTC for DHS, AK and DTD Always good for staying at the monorail resorts to just ride over and take these busses. I really think it would be faster than waiting for them at the monorail resorts.

Since it is the middle of the afternoon and I know that Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade is around that time, I am guessing you will head to the TTC to catch a bus over to Animal Kingdom so you can see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and the rest of the characters in their Christmas attire!!!
