Ah yes, the pepper girl, distractions, and lunchtime messes. We commented when we were in the MK and saw (and heard) several cranky babies, how glad we were not to be in that stage of life anymore. Although the teen years have their issues too, doncha know.
I have been real lucky that most of our teen issues have been relatively minor. That and when they get cranky I CAN just leave them because I know they will find their way back to the room.
But Oh yeah DO NOT MISS that one bit.
Oh Brother! What a scene that must have been. I can honestly say we didn't have any pepper or ketchup issues with my nephews. I don't even think we had a spilled soda, a small miracle to say the least.
Be back later for pics.
What? Your trip is almost over. It can't be!
It was quite entertaining. I kept wondering if mom saw her but the production about taking away the salt was odd. Judging by the picture the shakers were clear so I know she was putting a MOUND of pepper in that cup and then dipping.
You made it the trip without a drop or spill. GREAT!!!!
There are times when I miss having a little one while in the world, but this last trip was so fun with my older kids. It is fun to watch destruction happening to someone else. I guess it's a little mean to say that, but I have have my share of mishaps due to small children and lived to tell.
I've had to use that same smoke area and it is quiet and a little remote.
I still do love watching the well rested kids just enjoy and have fun. Heck I even enjoy being able to walk by or even help the meltdowns. Knowing I am not stuck with the cranky just helps.
Never get enough of decorations.
Kinda makes me want to carry around my own salt packets, in case she ever turns into Salt Girl. I don't use pepper, so I'm good there.
I don't usually pepper either but I never pepper like that. You can see how hard she was working.
Funny Mom made a big production out of her NOT using the salt. I can't really see how the pepper was that much better.
Looks like Chris may be saying a prayer that you don't croak over on him.
That was his - I know she feels sick but darn it she gets the sundae anyway and hurry up and take that picture so I can dig in too.
We ate at Plaza for the first time this summer. I had the Plaza Club, and it was good! I ate half there and took the other half back to the room. We were the first ones in for the day, and it didn't get crowded or loud while we were there. Except for when the Mayor came in. He was loud.
I have gone back too and had a pretty calm and nice lunch. I am glad I did not let that first lunch make me shy away from another visit.
That burger and sundae look delish AND you know the lines are long when you need a flag to mark the end.
Pepper girl! I'm still cracking up over that and now that I've seen her I'm thinking Darla from Finding Nemo - music included.
That burger was delish.... the sundae was great too.
MK that day was BUSY...
Pepper Girl was certainly entertaining. She was one busy girl and maybe that was better than her pitching a fit but I just cracked up that mom took away the salt but let her have the pepper.
Darla
Pepper girl cracks me up! What IS it with kids and their fascination with shakers? Licking though???? Sneaky though if she managed to do that wihtout parents seeing.
ICK!
Kids are always testing gravity..

The licking made me
I know that they were a bit distracted but she did lick many many times. ICK is right.
