When getting a Hotel would you rather

both have qualities I want but if I had to pick I think I would go with the view

Generally I like a nice size room, particularly when I pay more money. But Imthink I would almost always go for the view over the size unless the room was extremely small.

Bigger room for sure. There's 4 of us in there! We usually don't spend a lot of time in our room so the view isn't as important.

I don't care. I just want a clean place to sleep and shower. I'm not in the room to look at the view -- I'm happier looking at the view from outside the room while I'm doing things. And I'm only in the room to sleep, so I don't care how big it is.

We actually were at a hotel overlooking the Freedom Tower in Manhattan earlier this week. I failed to mention that in addition to not caring about the size of the room or the view, I'm cheap. And DH's client had a limit of how much $$ they would reimburse for his hotel bill. Because I'm cheap, and the reimbursement limit was $365, I booked the smallest, least expensive room in the hotel, and we ended up on the opposite side of the hotel from the Freedom Tower, down on the second floor. The view stunk. But I just walked outside and around the building to look at the view. That was enough for me.
