When does Disney start decorating for Christmas?

And when does the castle change to the ice? Going next November for a wedding. TIA

They start decorating right after Halloween. The Magic Kingdom will definitely be fully decorated in time for the first MVMCP, including the lights on the castle.

We were there Nov 2009. Nov 1 still Halloween, November 2nd, it was all Christmas!

MK is decorated in time for the first MVMCP which is in early November ( EXCEPT for the big tree which doesn't go up till after parade taping in early December). OSborne lights should start around then too.All the other parks and resorts start in early November and decorate throughout the month to be ready for Thanksgiving weekend.
