August 12th! As a private K teacher I go back the day after Labor Day!

Sept 2 here and they got out June 25th. Seeing everyone is going back so early that does mean the parks will be empty at the end of August when we go?

Kids here go back to school on a Monday(Sept.13) and out that Thursday and Friday.

Don't be so sure!!! We thought the same thing last year, and booked our trip for the last week in August! OMG! It was SO busy. The northern schools hadn't gone back to school!

The week before Labor Day was the first step in our Mid-August return. They switched from the Tues after Labor Day to the Monday before about 5 yrs ago. Now it's a week sooner - with NO change in end date.

Aug 16 here. Week earlier than last year and the plan is a week earlier than that for next year.
