8/30 for my kids -- I wish it were the day after Labor Day, but our schools always start the week before.

8/30 for us too, they got out 6/11.

Sept. 1 for us, they got out on June 16. Last day in June will be the 17th.

Teacher's (me) August 10th. Students- August 16th. Texas has a state law that doesn't allow school to start until the week of August 21st. Some districts get waivers to start earlier but mine hasn't. We got out on May 28th.

Our schools always return the Wednesday after Labor day. Being at a shore resort all of the kids have summer jobs and work until then.

Aug 31st here, Tues - Thurs., then they are off for a 4 day weekend! Almost doesn't make sense to go back!
