When do you start packing for your trip?

Is April too early to pack for an August trip?

Acutally, I do have a small bag set aside with the fun little things I've picked up for the kids and a few different t-shirts and so on. I'll begin my real packing after July 4th!

I'm going July 30th-Aug. 4th and started packing 2 weeks ago!

I haven't started real packing, but I've started to pick up things when I'm shopping and pulling out things around the house that I won't use before then and have put them all in an old backpack I don't use. I'm sure I won't finish packing until a few hours before it's time to leave!

I find it best to just not unpack from the last trip so we are already done

Every trip I plan to pack in advance, but always end up starting the night before after the kids are in bed and keep going right up until it's time to leave for the airport! I'm a procrastinator! My sister, on the other hand, is usually packed weeks in advance!

We are a family of 4. Just started packing yesterday. We leave in 19 days. I have started my check list of things I have packed and things I still need to get and pack. A list is very important for me since having kids. Before kids we would pack the night before.

We leave in 19 days. The "only" packing I have done is what I started buying or what was already in our overnight bag. The overnight bag always has things ready since I take my DD7 on overnight trips to see my parents and sister.

Hopefully, I get out shopping next weekend. Then the packing will start full force.

I'm a list maker, but I wait to pack until about 3-4 days before we leave. This trip might change a bit - I'm not worried about forgetting clothes and such, but I really need to make sure I have all my sons' insulin, needles, etc. I'm paranoid about forgetting it

I pack in October when I'm putting away summer clothing before we go in April..............

I have a Target bag in my closet of WDW stuff, and I keep one carry-on partially packed year round.

I have master packing lists for WDW for both winter and summer. I will print the appropriate list and pack clothing 12 days prior to departure, 2 outfits for every day of our trip.

We do not have a place to put things once we start packing because we "nest" the suitcases when we store them. Once they are out they are lined up in the hallway.
